Who we are

Rooted in faith. Driven by community.

Since 2016, Meridian Africa Foundation has worked alongside vulnerable and marginalized communities across Ghana and Africa, converging education, health, livelihoods and peace into one shared path forward.

Our story

How Meridian Africa Foundation began

Meridian Africa Foundation was founded in 2016 by a small group of faith-driven community organizers who saw that many of Africa's most pressing challenges were rarely addressed together, even though they were rarely separate in people's lived experience.

What began as informal community support in a handful of towns has grown into a structured foundation with a network of over 116 members, delivering programs across education, healthcare, sustainable livelihoods, food security, peacebuilding and human rights.
